The analogue f1 focus uses a visual search indicator. If you put on the f1 with its lightweight one belt system, the device is automatically switched on. There is a rotary switch for switch-over from transmit to receive mode. Under ideal conditions the f1 can achieve a range of about 80 m.

The visual search indicator shaped in an arrow ("FOCUS arrow") shows, when you have to switch into the next search zone. When using the tangent method, it shows the direction of the loudest signal and allows for a safe and precise pinpoint search.
