OSLO, April 17 (Reuters) - An avalanche killed two Swedish skiers on Friday in the Vauldalen area near the Norwegian town of Roeros close to the border with Sweden, local police said.
A third skier was uninjured in the avalanche, which was probably caused by heavy snow fall and strong winds, police officer Jon Anders Kokkvoll told Reuters.
Between 40 and 50 people took part in the search for the victims, who were in a party of seven Swedes on a ski tour.
